Black hat SEO is what's called when it comes to SEO. In order to get a quick ranking, people who use black hat techniques will often employ sneaky methods like keyword stuffing or link scraping. Google might penalize your website and blacklist it in the end if this strategy is used to boost traffic in the short-term.

 

A sustainable online business can be built by using white-hat SEO. When you use this method of SEO, you will focus on your audience.

But there is gray hat seo. It's not as pure and innocent as the most white-hated of SEOs but isn't as blatantly manipulative as some black-hat methods. With gray hat techniques, you're not trying intentionally to game the system or trick anybody. But you're trying to achieve a clear advantage.

 

Google's guidelines are not as definite as you might think. Sometimes, Google will even contradict itself. Google for instance has made it clear that guest blogging is not encouraged as a way to increase links.

When you buy links on websites that don't have anything to do with you niche, and then spam them all over the place to create guest posts, you will be penalized. When you write unique, valuable guest posts for sites relevant to you and provide real value to the readers, your link juice will be flowing nicely.
